Kling AI Pricing: Current Plans and What They Actually Include

Kling AI makes its own video models and sells them direct and charges in credits. Its membership page prints a cost per 100 credits next to every plan, which is more than most vendors publish and is exactly the number a buyer needs.
It is the first-month number. Every plan card leads with a discounted first month, and the cost per credit is worked out from that. From month two you pay the renewal price, and the cost per 100 credits goes up by about 25% on all 4 tiers.
Current Kling AI plans
There are 4 prices for each plan, which is 3 more than most vendors show. A first-month price, a struck-through list price, a monthly renewal price and an annual rate.

The monthly and annual rates are both discounts off the list price. Monthly billing is badged 12% off and annual billing 34% off, and the arithmetic holds on 3 of the 4 tiers. $10 less 12% is $8.80, $37 is $32.56 and $92 is $80.96. Ultra is the odd one, where 12% off $180 would be $158.40 rather than the $159.99 charged. Kling does not print an annual figure for Ultra on the plan card either, so the $119.17 in the table above is worked out from the 34% badge and is worth checking before you pay.

The advertised column is Kling’s own figure. The month 2 column is what the same credits cost you once the first-month discount ends. Nothing else changes between them.
A 5-second 720p Kling 3.0 generation costs 30 credits. Here is what one of those clips costs on each plan.

What each Kling AI tier delivers
Buying credits does not get you watermark removal or 4K. Kling says both of those need an active subscription, and a credit balance on its own is not one. So a credit pack on its own gets you generations you may not be able to use commercially or export clean.
The free tier will not let you export anything you can use. Basic gets no 1080p or 4K, no watermark removal, no video extension and no commercial-use rights. It caps you at 1 video per generation where every paid plan allows 4. Kling gives non-subscribers free credits monthly on login, valid 31 days, and does not publish how many.
Monthly credits last 31 days and nothing rolls over. Purchased credits are different and last 2 years from the day you buy them. Daily bonus credits, which are a subscriber benefit, expire at midnight the same day they are issued.
Credits are spent shortest-dated first. If you are holding a mix, Kling automatically burns the ones closest to expiring. That works in your favour and is worth knowing before you top up near a renewal date.
Standard to Pro is the biggest step up between any two plans. 660 credits to 3,000 for $23.76 more a month, which is 4.5 times the credits for 3.7 times the price. Every step above that buys less improvement. Premier is 2.7 times Pro’s credits for 2.5 times the price, and Ultra is 3.3 times Premier’s for 2 times the price, which is where the rate really falls.
Element Creation is capped separately from credits. Basic gets 30, Standard 50, Pro and Premier 150 each, and Ultra 500. That limit runs alongside your credit balance rather than out of it, so a big credit balance does not lift it.
Priority access to new features starts at Pro, and the beta invitations only at Ultra. On a platform that ships models this often, that is a real difference between the $8.80 plan and the rest. Buying from Kling directly rather than through a platform that resells its models is also what gets you a new model on the day it ships.
What has changed recently
Kling published annual pricing for the first time in late August, at 34% off list across all 4 tiers with the credit allowance unchanged. That is the biggest movement in these plans since I started checking them in mid-August, and it is a real discount rather than a smaller plan wearing a lower price.
The monthly renewal prices, the credit allowances and the first-month offers have not moved in that time.
I have only been checking these prices weekly since mid-August, so this section is short. It gets more useful the longer I keep going.
Jobs Kling AI competes in
Kling’s own model is sold in several other shops, which makes it one of the few places a price comparison removes quality from the argument entirely. The clip cost comparison prices the same Kling 3.0 clip on Kling, Higgsfield, Runway and Adobe Firefly, and buying from Kling is cheapest at every volume once a promotion on one of the others is set aside.

Plan prices, credit allowances, the published cost per 100 credits, the credit expiry rules and the free tier limits were all read live from Kling AI’s membership page on 2 September 2026. The rate of 30 credits for a 5-second 720p Kling 3.0 generation comes from Kling’s own model documentation and was last read on 30 August 2026, so it is carried forward rather than confirmed today.
Every cost per clip and every month 2 credit price is calculated rather than quoted, from a published rate against a published plan price.
