Higgsfield Pricing: Current Plans and What They Actually Include

Current Higgsfield plans

Higgsfield is a platform that sells other companies' video and image models alongside its own, metered in credits. It now has two plan sets, one for individuals and one for teams.

Ultra also sells at 6,000 and 9,000 credits a month, priced on the page once you pick the size.

The team plans default to 5 seats. Higgsfield's own page gives three different answers on the minimum, saying 2 to 9 members on the card, a minimum of 2 in a table footnote and a minimum of 3 in the questions below. Ask before you commit.

What Higgsfield charges per generation

Higgsfield publishes a rate for nearly every model it sells, which is more than most platforms do. A few of the ones people actually use, all at 720p:

Turn that into money and the plan you are on matters more than the model you pick. A 5-second 720p Kling 3.0 clip costs 49 cents on Starter, 27 cents on Plus with annual billing and 23 cents on Ultra with annual billing. Those are the same clip on plans costing $19, $47 and $99 a month, so read the plan price next to the clip price rather than on its own.

What each Higgsfield tier delivers

The annual toggle is badged 30% off but no plan is 30% off. Starter costs $19 either way, and the page says so directly underneath. Plus is 20% off. Ultra is 23% off.

Starter will not tell you which models it runs. Its card says access to selected models only, and does not list them. What it does say is that Seedance 2.5 and Seedance 2.0 are both out, and Seedance 2.5 needs Plus. So the cheapest paid plan cannot run the model Higgsfield markets hardest, and you cannot check what else it cannot run until you have paid.

Credits expire. They do not roll over, and they clear at the end of each cycle. On an annual plan the cycle refreshes every 30 days from the day you subscribed, not on the 1st of the month, which is the sort of thing you only notice after losing a month's worth.

The unlimited windows do not work everywhere. Plus and Ultra include 7-day unlimited runs on Kling 3.0 and Nano Banana 2, and Ultra adds Nano Banana Pro. Those only work on the Higgsfield website. They do not apply through the command line tool, the plugin, Canvas or Supercomputer. That is in small print under the plan cards rather than on them, and it is the single most reported surprise in the section below.

The page contradicts itself on how many jobs you can run at once. The Plus and Ultra cards now say unlimited paid parallel generations, badged as new. The comparison table further down the same page still shows the old limits of 6 and 8 videos at a time. Both cannot be right, and Higgsfield has not said which.

Credit packs exist and the price is not published. If you run out, Higgsfield says you can upgrade or buy a pack, and the packs are added instantly. It does not print what a pack costs anywhere on the pricing page.

The free tier has no commercial rights, which rules it out for anything you are paid for.

What has changed recently

The headline monthly prices have held at $19, $59 and $129 since I started checking these in mid-August. What you get for them has moved twice in a week.

On 23 August a set of team plans appeared that had not existed before. Team at $65 a seat and Scale at $150 a seat, both billed annually, both with a shared credit pool, SSO, indemnification and admin spend controls. That is Higgsfield going after companies rather than individuals, and it arrived with no announcement.

The same day, the concurrency limits on Plus and Ultra were replaced with unlimited paid parallel generations, and a line appeared saying credits do not roll over and expire at the end of each cycle. I cannot tell whether that expiry rule is new or whether it was always true and simply not written down.

And in the last 3 days the signup promotion on Ultra has gone from 20% off to 30% off. The plan prices behind it have not changed.

What people report about Higgsfield

This is worth reading before you buy an annual plan on the strength of the unlimited offer.

In an X thread on 22 August, 6 separate accounts said the unlimited generation mode was not delivering what was advertised. The reports are specific rather than vague. One person timed his own generations across several days and got a consistent 4 to 5 hours for a single 5-second 720p Seedance 2.5 clip. Another, on the top plan, said roughly 1 in 3 generations sat in the queue for over an hour. One gave up on a film project because every generation took more than 2 hours to appear.

Two more people said the same thing had happened before, one of them tracing the pattern from Runway's old unlimited plan through Artlist and on to Higgsfield.

The complaints are about the unlimited windows, not about the metered credit prices. Nobody in that thread said a paid credit generation was slow. That points at a clear way to use Higgsfield, which is to buy it for the credits and treat any unlimited window as a bonus rather than as the reason you subscribed.

Hands-on with Higgsfield

Higgsfield, Soul ID identity drift test against Nano Banana is where I ran 6 tests on my own face. Soul ID trained on roughly 20 to 30 portrait photos and held my face through medieval armour with no degradation, which surprised me. It also mapped my face onto every single person in a train carriage, ignored an instruction to change my clothes and rendered me in the same red t-shirt every time, and put strange warps on my lips whenever the expression was strong.

Every cost per clip is worked out from Higgsfield's published credit rate and the credits its plans include, and is labelled as such rather than quoted from the vendor.
